  As part of a bridal party I got a fake tan here and am afraid to say I was very disappointed. I was assured the colour would be 'rich honey' but it definitely erred on the orange side, while dribbling around my feet in dark patches. It definitely wasn't the best look for the wedding and we all felt quite self conscious!

  The best Dr Hauschka facial I have had anywhere in the world. Sophie has the magic touch and really knows how to cater to her individual client needs. Wonderful service and left glowing in the inside and out.

  I got married a few of weeks ago in the Mullumbimby area. Not being a local, I didn’t know of a good spray tan place so someone recommended Clay in Mullumbimby. Oh how I wish I hadn’t followed this recommendation. Myself and my four bridesmaids all got a spray tan there and it was easily the worst spray tan I have ever had. We asked for a very light tan and were assured it would be. It was the complete opposite: a dark orange! When the tan was applied, several of us were left with big drip marks around the ankles and other areas. We were told not to wipe these off and that they would go when we showered. They did not and two of the bridesmaids were left with large, very dark, very visible drip marks around their ankles. It looked dreadful! Not to mention the patchiness on our knees and elbows. One of the bridesmaids returned to Clay the next day (for a different appointment) and pointed this out. When it was raised to the manager she shunned all responsibility and said it must just be due to her skin type. This is a disgraceful way to run a business!

  I would say avoid at all costs getting a spray tan at Clay. I felt like an orange blob at my wedding and feel my photos are ruined. And I’m still dealing with a horrible patchiness as the tan finally comes off.

  My favourite place for a Relaxing waxing. I drive from the Gold Coast just for a wax here - I've never found anyone who can do it better! The girls are also very helpful and knowledgeable with the organic beauty products. I purchase my eco tan and inika supplies here. I'm looking forward to making my way through their full menu.
